In keeping with the homeowner's desire to update this previously mid-western style ranch home, the "Vail" look entrance was created to blend with the existing  house to "reach out"  to welcome visitors.
An antique, family member-built "snowflake" light fixture was altered to fit, re-lighted, and hung in the shelter of the new entrance. This feature further united the old and familiar with the new and updated, which was so important to this family.
