Involved in the museum exhibit business since 1982, as builders and sub-contractor, Creative Display Installation's many projects include museums and science centers, both nationally and internationally. CDI has also done installation work at many National Park Service Centers as well as the Smithsonian on behalf of large display houses.

Museums: The capabilities of Creative Display Installation, Inc. includes specializing in both on-site and off-site construction of dioramas, environmental displays, replica buildings and equipment, and period backgrounds and scenery. Creative problem solving for display design, exhibit installation, repair, alterations, refurbishing, and dismantling are also very strong assets brought to each and every job.

Whatever display builder you talk to, most of their work is in "some other town." As a smaller company, CDI is cost-effective for our customers due to minimized overhead. CDI has excelled in literally moving to the customer's site and setting up shop quickly and efficiently in or near their facility.

Years of experience have given us the ability to hire local people, sort out their capabilities and plug in the right worker for the appropriate job, based upon their particular skill. Local workers have a stake in their hometown project and community. They know the area and many times are very familiar with the history that we are presenting. At the same time, the savings of using local help in not paying a per diem, car rentals, etc. is passed on to the client, while we provide world class exhibits.

Commercial and Residential: As a licensed residential builder, opportunities have arisen locally and out-of-state to be involved in designing creative, artistic features for both commercial buildings and residences to satisfy the most discriminating tastes of any client whether it was the reproduction of a particular feature or the development of a unique idea.
